| Meet the Staff |

Harold Solomon
- Harold has coached champion players Mary Jo Fernandez, Jennifer Capriati,
Monica Seles, Anna Kournikova and Jim Courier, among others, and has coached
players in the finals of Grand Slam Events and to Gold and Silver medals at
the Olympic Games.
Ranked among the United States" greatest all-time players,
Harold won 22 ATP Tour events, qualified for six ATP year-end championships,
was a member of two winning US Davis Cup teams, and is one of a selected group
of American players to reach the finals at the French Open.

Andy Brandi
- Andy most recently was Director of Instruction at the Evert Tennis Academy,
and previously served 17 years at the University of Florida, where he became
the winningest tennis coach in NCAA history, garnering 3 team and individual
national titles.
Andy also has coached champion players, including Lisa Raymond,
Kathy Rinaldi, Jay Berger, Brad Gilbert, Aaron Kricksten and Tatiana Golovin.

MJ Kinney-Mantione
- MJ is the director of administration at the THSTI. Responsible for coordination
student academic studies and schedules.
She moved to Florida in 1986 after graduating
from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a BA in Communications.
Professionally, has been involved with the travel and hospitality industries
for 19 years.
In 1997, received a culinary degree from Johnson and Wales University.
She is an avid sports fan and enjoys any outdoor activity under the Florida
sunshine. |

Tom Downs
- Coaching Experience.
Tom Downs is originally from Brisbane, Australia. He graduated from University of South Florida with degree in communications
Tom has worked with the following players:
-Rennae Stubbs won 6 grand slams, fomer world #1 doubles, currently #5 WTA
-Sam Stosur is former world #1 doubles, top 30 singles
-Olga Puchkova WTA #87

Saddlebrook Academy coach for 2 years. Traveled with juniors to major ITF events. Worked with the top academy juniors on a daily basis.
Prior to Solomon, worked at Club 4 Life in Pittsburgh. Coached three top 10 USTA nationally ranked juniors in their respective age groups

Brian Gottfried
-
Since retiring from the ATP Tour in 1984 Gottfried has been the Director of Tennis, General Manager and Touring Professional at the ATP Tennis International Headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. During those years he had the opportunity to coach many touring professionals and junior players.
Some of the players that Gottfried coached were Mal Washington, Jimmy Arias, Michael Chang and many others. While on the ATP Tour, Gottfried won 25 singles titles and 50 doubles titles and reached a career high of #3 in singles on the ATP rankings.
In 1975 and 1977 Gottfried won the French Open Doubles along with reaching the finals of the singles in 1977. In 1976 he and longtime partner Raul Ramirez won the Wimbledon Doubles Championships and were ranked as the top team in the world. Gottfried was also a longtime member of the US Davis Cup team.
